Daily Life at Berwyn Montessori
Upon arrival, all children are greeted by teachers and friends. Children then organize their personal belongings. The children with then start with a purposeful activity that he/she is eager to do. An array of choices are found throughout the shelves. It could be multiplication, grammar, fractions, labeling the countries of Europe, shoe polishing, or watering a plant. Most importantly, the child has entered an authentic community. A community in which all children work, play, socialize, eat, and experience life and develop a strong sense of importance to society.
